Grapevine, TX – “Christmas Capital of Texas”
Centrally located between major highways that run between Dallas and Ft. Worth, Grapevine provides its residents with a small-town feel while still being within 5-minutes of DFW International Airport. In addition to being located on Grapevine.

Grapevine’s central location within the DFW Metroplex makes it home to many global companies due to its proximity to technology and shipping hubs.
DFW is the main hub for American Airlines, though other major carriers maintain a large presence
Major employers in the area include DFW Airport, Kubota’s North American Headquarter, Game Stop, Cotton Patch Cafe.
Parks and Recreation
Impounded in 1952, Grapevine Lake is a man-made reservoir with the primary purpose of flood control and to serve as a municipal water source. It is 65-feet deep and provides several marinas, open spaces, and fun recreation opportunities for families of all ages.
In the center of town is the multi-functional Recreation Center in the same complex as the Public Library and Senior Center.
In total, the city has 38 park sites and approximately 24-miles of hike and bike trails that link parks, schools, and businesses. The hike and bike trails have mileage markers that also have GPS coordinates for location identification in case of emergencies. Trails include water fountains, bathrooms, parking, and links to dog parks!
Rail and Shuttle
The Grapevine Vintage Railroad provides service to and from the Fort Worth Stockyards and is another big tourist attraction in the city.
The Convention and Visitor’s Bureau operates the Grapevine Visitor’s Shuttle between points of interest within the city.
Shopping and Entertainment
Known for its eclectic shops and one-of-a-kind bakeries, Main Street in historic downtown Grapevine is a popular attraction. City Hall, the Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau, public library, and recreation center are on Main Street in addition to many small businesses. These include antique stores, restaurants, wineries, bars, theaters, a park, and many specialty shops.
In Grapevine, there are multiple town centers such as Grapevine Towne Center, Northwest Plaza Shopping Center, and Old Main Street Shopping center! There’s also the amazing Grapevine Mills mall, located at 3000 Grapevine Mills Pkwy, Grapevine, TX 7605 with over 100 stores and restaurants!
