PARKS & RECREATION
Anna is committed to a master-planned park system with a pedestrian and bike trail that will connect all parts of the city.
Anna Parks and Recreation Department oversees the parks including a splash pad and pavilion. They are also responsible for lighted ball fields, tennis courts, basketball goals. Additionally, Anna offers a large multi-purpose athletic fields, a 3,600-foot walking trail, skateboard park, playground. For the game-players there are horseshoe pits, shuffleboard court, splash pad, disc golf course, gazebo, and concession building.
First Christian Church of Anna is one of the earliest Christian Churches in Texas, and was founded in 1846 by pioneer settlers Collin McKinney and J.B. Wilmeth.

SHOPPING
Anna has Walmart, Brookshire with food and pharmacy, as well as other retail convenience stores and medical. It’s only a few miles north of McKinney that offers complete retail from big box stores to unique boutiques.
