Welcome to Aubrey, a laid back family-oriented town approximately 45 miles north of Dallas, and 12 miles from the City of Denton, in Denton County.
The area immediately south of Aubrey is growing rapidly, and Aubrey 380 Area Chamber of Commerce, proudly supports the communities of Aubrey, Cross Roads, Krugerville, Oak Point, and Providence Village.
Aubrey Independent School District is a progressive and academically-recognized school district focused on student achievement. The district has one high school, one middle school, two elementary schools, and a pre-K and daycare center serving the areas of Providence, Krugerville, Cross Roads, and Aubrey

Aubrey has was the nick name “Horse Country, USA” for good reason. With mild winters and rich sandy soil, the area provides perfect conditions for training and working horses.
There are trails for riding and Aubrey is just minutes from Lake Ray Roberts or Lake Lewisville, offering boating and water sports.
Shopping in Aubrey is limited, but only a few miles south to Crossroads is a Walmart center, and further southeast to Frisco with mega-retail options.
