Parks and Recreation
Plano is committed to providing an outstanding park system throughout the city. With over 3800 acres of parks and trails, five recreation centers, numerous activity programs, and special events, which all contribute to the quality of life in Plano. This is managed by the nationally accredited Plano Parks and Recreation Department.
The yearly Plano Balloon Festival happens every September.

Recently redesigned, The Shops at Willow Bend offers world-class shopping, dining, and events experience plus an executive office tower.
